Propel PPF Warranty Terms
Propel PPF (Paint Protection Film) products are high-performance protective films developed to shield vehicle paintwork from external factors. Under normal use, our products are covered against manufacturing-related defects such as yellowing, cracking, delamination and similar issues for the specified warranty period.

2. Warranty Coverage and Duration
Propel PPF products are covered by a 7 (seven) year manufacturer warranty from the date of installation, provided the product has been installed exclusively by an application centre authorised by Propel Otomotiv and the installation has been registered in the digital warranty system. The warranty covers manufacturing-related defects arising under normal use, such as yellowing, cracking, delamination and similar issues.
3. Usage and Climate Conditions Affecting the Warranty
The performance and service life of PPF products can be affected by how the vehicle is used, maintenance conditions, environmental factors and climate. The warranty is therefore assessed with regard to the conditions the product has actually been exposed to.
Prolonged use of the vehicle in:
- Extremely hot climates,
- Regions with intense UV exposure,
- Desert or semi-desert climate conditions,
- Permanently open, sun-exposed parking,
- Geographies with high temperatures and low humidity,
can accelerate the natural ageing process of the PPF product. As with all polyurethane-based protective films, such environmental conditions can affect the product's appearance and performance over time. In particular, sustained high surface temperatures can shorten the product's service life compared to standard climate conditions.
The warranty periods specified by Propel are therefore based on normal use and standard climate conditions. Where a vehicle is consistently used in extremely hot climate regions, warranty assessments take the actual environmental conditions the product has been exposed to into account, and the product's expected service life may be shorter than under standard conditions.
4. Exclusions
Damage occurring during washing and damage caused by impact are not covered by the warranty. In addition, the following are also excluded from warranty coverage:
- Physical damage caused by external factors such as accidents, impacts, scratches or stone chips,
- Installation, alteration, patching or removal carried out outside authorised application centres,
- Damage caused by unsuitable or abrasive chemical products, equipment, or improper high-pressure washing,
- Installation on surfaces that were already damaged or had a compromised paint finish,
- Force majeure events such as natural disasters, fire, flood or hail,
- Unusual wear resulting from commercial use of the vehicle (rental, racing, etc.),
- Products without a warranty record, or where the record does not match the vehicle or installation.
5. Who the Warranty Belongs to and Its Status on Sale of the Vehicle
The warranty is issued to, and held solely by, the person registered as the vehicle's owner on the vehicle registration document at the time of installation. If the vehicle is sold to a third party, or registered ownership is transferred in any way, the warranty automatically terminates and is not transferred to the new owner.
6. Care and Maintenance Recommendations
To preserve the product's maximum performance, it is recommended to park the vehicle in a covered or shaded area whenever possible, to carry out regular maintenance, and to clean any contaminants from the surface promptly rather than leaving them for an extended period.
7. Verifying a Warranty Record
After installation, the resulting warranty record can be looked up with the warranty card number or licence plate on the Warranty Check page. The result shows the product, installation date, coverage and application centre in real time, sourced directly from the official Propel Warranty database.
8. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To request warranty consideration, please contact either:
- The authorised application centre that installed the product, or
- Propel Otomotiv directly, using the contact details above,
providing the warranty card number or licence plate, a photograph of the issue, and a short description. Propel reserves the right to evaluate each warranty claim individually following technical inspection, in the interest of product quality and customer satisfaction. Claims found to be within scope are repaired or reinstalled through the relevant authorised application centre.
9. Limitation of Liability
This warranty covers only manufacturing defects in the product itself; matters relating to workmanship and installation are subject to the separate warranty and liability terms of the authorised application centre that performed the installation. Warranty remedies are limited to repair or reinstallation of the product; indirect or consequential damages are excluded. This document does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
10. Effective Date and Amendments
Propel Otomotiv reserves the right to amend this document when necessary. The current version is always published on this page and takes effect from its publication date.
