Personal Data Processing Information Notice
As Propel Otomotiv İç ve Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi (the “Company” or “Propel Otomotiv”), pursuant to Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “Law”) and related legislation, we would like to inform you, in our capacity as data controller, about the security and processing of your personal data.

2. Personal Data Processed
Within the scope of creating a warranty record, we process the following data:
- Identity data: first and last name.
- Contact data: e-mail address, phone number.
- Vehicle and warranty data: vehicle licence plate, vehicle make and model, warranty card number, lot number and product photo.
3. Purposes of Processing
Your collected personal data is processed, within the conditions set out in Articles 4, 5 and 6 of the Law, for the following purposes:
- Creating a customer- and vehicle-based digital warranty record,
- Tracking and verifying warranty processes,
- Sending warranty information generated by the system to you by SMS and e-mail,
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and carrying out after-sales support services,
- Fulfilling legal obligations.
4. Parties to Whom Data May Be Transferred and Purpose of Transfer
Your personal data may, in line with the purposes above, be transferred to:
- Service providers: our business partners providing SMS delivery (İleti Merkezi, etc.) and cloud computing/infrastructure services (GCP, etc.),
- Authorised institutions: legally authorised public institutions and judicial authorities within the framework of legal obligations.
Recipient group: your personal data is transferred by the data controller only to the recipient groups defined above and within the stated purposes.
5. Method and Legal Grounds of Collection
Your personal data is collected through our dealers via the web panel or the mobile application, by wholly automated means or by non-automated means as part of a data recording system (digital forms).
The legal grounds for the processing are:
- Establishment or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c): to provide and record the warranty service.
- Legal obligation of the data controller (Art. 5/2-ç): documenting warranty and after-sales services under the legislation.
- Legitimate interest of the data controller, provided it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject (Art. 5/2-f): improving service quality and managing operational processes.
6. Rights of the Data Subject (Article 11)
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, by applying to Propel Otomotiv you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information if it has been processed,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad,
- request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
- request its deletion or destruction within the conditions set out in Article 7 of the Law,
- request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
- object to a result against you arising from the analysis of processed data solely by automated systems,
- request compensation if you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.
7. Application Procedure
You may submit your requests in writing in person or via a notary to our company address above, or to our registered e-mail address info@propel.com.tr using a secure electronic signature / mobile signature. Your application will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, in accordance with the conditions set out in the relevant Communiqué.
