Privacy Policy

Propel App (the “App”) is an informational and warranty-lookup mobile application offered by Propel Otomotiv İç ve Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti. under the Propel PPF brand. This text explains the conditions and legal grounds for processing your personal data while using the App, and the rights you hold.

1) Account / Membership in the App

Standard use of Propel App does not require registration or sign-in.
The App does not request identity data such as name, surname or e-mail from general users.
There may be management modules reserved for authorised dealer staff; these are closed to general users.

2) Data Processed

Warranty lookup inputs: data you enter during a lookup, such as a warranty card number or licence plate, is sent to our back-end system solely to display the result.
Technical logs: server access records (IP address, date/time, request path) may be kept temporarily for debugging and security.
External interactions: if you start a phone call (tel:), send an e-mail (mailto:), or go to Instagram/YouTube/map links from within the App, the action takes place on the relevant external service. Those services' own privacy policies apply.

3) Purposes and Legal Grounds

Performance of the service: showing warranty status, presenting dealer/product information (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
Legitimate interest: security, performance and debugging (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
Explicit consent: if a purpose beyond the above arises, your explicit consent will be requested separately.

4) Cookies and Tracking

Propel App does not use cookies and does not perform advertising or personalised tracking.
If you are directed to external sites (Instagram, YouTube, etc.), those sites' cookie and privacy policies apply.

5) Third Parties and Transfers

The App's server infrastructure is hosted in Türkiye.
Technical service providers (hosting, cloud infrastructure, etc.) may provide support only as data processors.
No data is shared for marketing purposes.
Data may be shared where there is a legal obligation (court/authority requests).

6) Retention Periods

Warranty lookup inputs: kept for as long as necessary to complete the lookup and for security purposes.
Server logs: kept for reasonable periods for security and debugging; expired records are regularly deleted or anonymised.

7) Security

Your data is protected in transit with TLS/SSL.
Access is controlled with authorisation restrictions and up-to-date security measures.

8) Your Rights Under the KVKK

Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), you have the right to:

learn whether your personal data is processed,
learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
know the third parties to whom it is transferred,
request correction / deletion / restriction of processing,
object to the processing.
